Today’s episode of the Mercedium Stretch features Toronto jazz musician, saxophonist, and bandleader Lazar Miric. Earlier this year Lazar put out his solo project Standards+ which reimagines jazz classics with 21st century electronic production. He also put out a self-titled project with his band Lavender Town which preforms original compositions as well as covers from hip-hop and video games. Tune in @ 2pm on CIUT 89.5 FM to hear Lavender Town reinterpret some songs from MF DOOM, and Legend of Zelda, as well as some funky Lazar solo tracks that will bring you back to playing Mario Kart in your parents living room.
