This episode of the Mercedium Stretch welcomes Wiidaaseh & Alexandra Lazarowich, star and director respectively, of the documentary 'Turtle Island Rap'.The film chronicles the lives of three indigenous rappers from across Turtle Island, trying to make a career in music.When we caught up with Wiidaaseh earlier this year he brought along the documentary crew to film our interview while we spoke about his powerful raps and intricate production. We even make a cameo in the film!The film premiered at TIFF 2026 to a sold out crowd while the three subjects of the film finally got to meet in person.
