Sofiacide graces the Mercedium Stretch for the second time, following their final album announcement.Paolo, Eric, and Stefano join us to discuss the making of their last project which comes out November 30th.As is courtesy for a Sofiacide interview, we talk about strange global occurrences, including Falun Gong and Denver's Tommyknockers.We listen to 2 tracks from the upcoming album along with other songs that have inspired the band.

This week's episode of the Mercedium Stretch features drummer and bandleader Jon Catanus. Making a name for himself across many different genres of music, Jon's drumming expertise and energy shines through each fill he plays.
He talks about his transition from piano to drums, along with trying to balance his ever growing list of projects.
We listen to some tracks from diskarte along with songs from Orbital Ensemble and jennarie which feature his rhythms throughout.

For the first time on the Mercedium Stretch we had a band come in to play live... they absolutely rocked. Altered by Mom consists of Gina, Devon, and Max who recently released their debut album BETTER and toured it across Canada. They talk about how the album came to be, share details about their upcoming tour in Japan, and of course play some amazing tracks off the album.

This week we speak to Parker and Sam of the Toronto band Lady Marge. Having released their self titled album back in mid-August the band has been busy playing shows across the city. They share with us the origins of the band, musings about promoting music online, and shed some behind the scenes facts about their debut music video.
